A delegation from the Saudi Fund for Development arrived in Dushanbe on an official visit.
The purpose of the visit is to discuss the process of providing a concessional loan for the construction of a road in Kulob as part of the cooperation between SFD and the Ministry of Finance of the Republic, according to a press release issued by the Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Tajikistan.
The project involves the construction of the “Kulob Ring Road,” for which SFD will allocate a concessional loan of $30 million.
Additionally, the project will enhance the level of transport connectivity in line with modern standards and contribute to the development of international transit, linking Central Asian countries with China and other states.
It is worth mentioning that with the implementation of this project, the number of SFD initiatives in Tajikistan will reach 14, with a total financing volume of $325 million.
