Highland Park
Highland Park is located in the center of Baku. The area features a park zone, a memorial complex, and viewing platforms, including the local landmark, the "Shehidlar" Mosque. Situated on a hill, it is the highest point in Baku. You can reach the park by funicular or a steep staircase. The viewpoints offer beautiful views of attractions like the Seaside Boulevard, Baku Bay, the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, and the Maiden Tower.
Park of officers
Park of officers is popular among locals. It has resting areas, a stone fountain, and a children's playground with a soft surface. There’s also a trampoline arena for kids and adults. Throughout the park, you’ll find many bronze statues: a photographer, a chess player, a tea vendor, and a girl playing hopscotch. It’s an excellent spot for family strolls and warm gatherings.
Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan
The Central Botanical Garden is the first botanical garden in the country, stretching from Highland Park to "Gurd Gapysy." It hosts a collection of 2,500 species of local and exotic trees, shrubs, and plants, including 125 species of rare and endangered plants. Here, you can walk, relax, and learn many interesting facts about flora.
Nizami Park
Nizami Park is one of the largest parks in Azerbaijan and one of the oldest historical sites in Baku. It features century-old trees and vast spaces. Chemberekend Park
