Ahead of Uzbekistan’s upcoming state visit to France on March 10, the Uzbekistan–France Tourism Forum took place in Paris at the Intercontinental Hotel. The event, themed “Uzbekistan – The Pearl of the Silk Road,” brought together 120 participants, including tourism officials, business leaders, diplomats, and industry experts.
The forum aimed to strengthen tourism ties between the two countries, boost business partnerships, and increase tourist flows to Uzbekistan. Participants explored Uzbekistan’s tourism prospects, infrastructure developments, and new initiatives to enhance the visitor experience.
Uzbekistan Airways presented its logistics capabilities, current routes, and expansion plans, while B2B meetings helped establish new business connections and discuss cooperation opportunities. French travel companies were introduced to recent tourism reforms, new attractions, and cultural heritage sites in Uzbekistan.
The event also featured live performances of traditional Uzbek music and dance, as well as a tasting of national cuisine prepared by professional chefs.
