Uzbekistan and Jordan to introduce visa-free regime for diplomatic passport holders

The foreign ministers of both countries held official talks as part of the visit of Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs to Jordan.

Uzbekistan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bakhtiyor Saidov, and Jordan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ayman Safadi, signed an agreement on a visa-free regime for diplomatic passport holders. The parties also signed a cooperation program between the foreign ministries for 2025-2027, according to the press service of Uzbekistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the negotiations, they discussed the development of economic ties, increasing tourist flows, strengthening relations between twin cities, and fostering connections between the peoples of both countries.

Particular attention was given to improving connectivity between Uzbekistan and Jordan.
