The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan signed an agreement on the implementation of an investment project in the production and deep processing of non-ferrous metals in Kazakhstan.
The project provides for the creation of new production facilities in two regions of the country, which will introduce advanced technologies in the metallurgical industry and expand the export of finished products to international markets, including the European Union, Central Asia and China. Within the framework of the project, the construction of electrical capacities is also envisaged.
In addition, the parties agreed on a detailed study of the investment agreement, which will include specific terms of cooperation, measures of state support and obligations of the parties.
The parties expressed confidence in further strengthening of cooperation and agreed to continue joint work to prepare for the practical implementation of the project.
