Kazakhstan

DODA Orchestra Symphony Concert

Where: Almaty

This concert features a unique blend of symphonic music and modern dance tracks performed by DODA, a project led by Dias Ablayev. The orchestra will present symphonic versions of popular hits by artists such as David Guetta, Calvin Harris, and Daft Punk. Nomad Inspiration

"Nomad Inspiration" is a collaborative project between the Astana Opera Ballet Company and the HasSak Ethno-Folk Group. The performance features new works by choreographer and dancer Sultanbek Gumar, set to music by HasSak and composer Khamit Shangaliyev. The multi-instrumentalist musicians of HasSak will perform both as a group and in collaboration with the theatre’s symphony orchestra. The show has a runtime of 1 hour and 30 minutes, including one interval. Please note that the age limit is 10+.


Son Pascal’s Concert

Son Pascal, a French singer and composer known for his electronic music hits, will perform at the "Pingvin" club in Astana. Photography exhibition "Share to Keep"

The "Share to Keep" photography exhibition will take place from January 14 to 31, 2025, at the Suymonkul Chokmorov Museum-Studio in Bishkek. The exhibition features 33 black-and-white photographs that blend the physical and spiritual aspects of life, accompanied by an audio performance where the author shares stories behind each piece. Classical Music Concert

The State Academic Symphony Orchestra named after A. Dzhumakhmatov will perform a classical music concert featuring compositions by F. Chopin and M. Bruch. The event offers mentorship and the chance to win support for project implementation. The hackathon will take place from January 24 to 31, with final pitching on January 30 and 31.



Uzbekistan

Annual charity poetry Masquerade Ball

The event will feature performances by the poetry team @poetry_slam_uz, an open mic session for anyone wishing to share their poems, custom clothing design opportunities, makeup services by a guest artist, and other engaging activities. The dress code is masquerade ball attire, including items like masks, fans, handbags, hats, or bow ties. Admission is 80 000 UZS, with a portion of the proceeds donated to a charitable foundation.


Winter Run Race
