Global Innovation Index 2024: Kazakhstan has ranked among the top three leaders in Central and South Asia


Kazakhstan demonstrated significant progress, rising to the top three leaders in Central and South Asia and improving its position in the global ranking from 81st to 78th. Kyrgyzstan


Kyrgyzstan has established diplomatic relations with an African country


A joint communiqué was signed by Kyrgyzstan's Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev and Angola's Minister of External Relations Tete Antonio. During the negotiations, the parties agreed to strengthen political dialogue and multifaceted cooperation through a mechanism of bilateral consultations and high-level visits. Key areas for initial cooperation discussed included education, climate change, tourism, security, and collaboration within international organizations.

The first charter flight Osh — New Delhi launched


Osh International Airport has become the starting point for a new chapter in cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and India with the launch of the first international charter flight, Osh — New Delhi — Osh. Air France may launch flights to Uzbekistan


A special episode of Top Gear France dedicated to Uzbekistan is set to be filmed by the end of the year. During a meeting in Paris, Tourism Committee Chairman Umid Shadiev discussed with Air France's Commercial Director Frédéric Décorse the potential for organizing flight routes to Uzbekistan.

Uzbekistan and the United States have signed an agreement on mutual assistance in customs matters


The parties will enhance information exchange and combat threats, including money laundering. On September 13, Customs Committee Chairman Akmalhuzha Mavlonov and U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Troy Miller held negotiations in Washington for the first time in 32 years. Currently, there is no legal framework for bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

Over the past six years, trade between Uzbekistan and the U.S. has grown by 48%. From January to August of this year, the trade turnover increased by 64%, reaching $613.6 million.

Tajikistan


"Tajik Air" will begin flights on the route Dushanbe-Khorog-Dushanbe


Flights will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays using AN-28 aircraft. The ticket price is 900 somoni one way, and tickets can be purchased at "Tajik Air" sales points.

Tajikistan and Namibia have established diplomatic relations


During the 79th session of the UN General Assembly, Tajikistan's Foreign Minister Sirojiddin Muhriddin met with Namibia's Minister of International Relations and Cooperation, Peja Mushalenga. During the meeting, a ceremony was held to sign a Joint Communiqué establishing diplomatic relations between Tajikistan and Namibia.

The foreign ministers emphasized the importance of developing bilateral and multilateral relations between the two countries, noting that this new partnership undoubtedly opens additional opportunities for both nations.
