Kazakhstani tennis player Sonya Zhienbaeva has become the winner of the ITF tournament in Madrid
In the final match, the Kazakh player defeated British player Alice Gillan in three sets: 6-1, 5-7, 6-1.
This trophy became Zhienbaeva's seventh in her career.

Kazakhstan won five gold medals at the Asia Cup in shotgun shooting
Among women, the best result was achieved by Asem Orynbay, while the men's competition was won by Eduard Yeshchenko. Orynbay and Yeshchenko also took first place in the mixed teams category.
In the women's team competition, Asem Orynbay, Zoya Kravchenko, and Adel Sadakbaeva won gold. In the men's category, Kazakhstan's David Pochivalov, Eduard Yeshchenko, and Ilya Penkov took the top spot.
David Pochivalov finished the tournament with a bronze medal, placing third in the individual competition.

The Chinese company Neta Motors, which specializes in the production of electric vehicles and three-wheeled motorcycles, has "expressed serious interest in opening a representative office or branch in Kyrgyzstan." Uzbekistan
Uzbekistan plans to open permanent showrooms and trade houses in Dubai
The emirate will assist in promoting the export of domestic products to the UAE and countries of the Persian Gulf. On September 27, a memorandum of cooperation was signed at the forum of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan and Dubai. The parties also discussed collaboration in the fields of green energy, agriculture, tourism infrastructure, transportation, and logistics.

The Eurasian Development Bank intends to open a country office in Tashkent by the end of the year
The Eurasian Development Bank and Uzbekistan have agreed to joint projects worth $3.3 billion, as reported by the Ministry of Investments, Industry, and Trade. On September 26 in Samarkand, during the 9th Annual Meeting of the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank, Laziz Kudratov, head of the Ministry, met with EDB Chairman Nikolai Podguzov. They discussed deepening cooperation, with Podguzov highlighting Uzbekistan as a key partner and plans to add several major countries as EDB shareholders soon.

Air Samarkand is launching regular flights on the Samarkand — Tashkent route

A new enrollment has begun for the Yandex Programming School
Classes will be held in Samarkand and Urgench, while the number of places in Tashkent will increase. Students aged 14 to 17 from schools and lyceums can enroll in the courses. During the classes, they will learn the basics of development in Python, including fundamental concepts, structures, and libraries.

The American Technological University has opened in Tashkent
The new university was established with the participation of Cintana Education. Its partner from the U.S. is Arizona State University, which is ranked among the top 200 in the Times Higher Education rankings.
The university will train specialists in architecture and design, engineering, IT, healthcare, international relations, economics, and finance. The educational process will be organized using the experience of leading foreign universities.

Tajikistan and Qatar have agreed to implement priority projects
On October 2, Tajikistan's Minister of Economic Development and Trade, Zavki Zavkizoda, met in Doha with Qatar's Minister of Commerce and Industry, Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qasim Al Thani. The parties agreed to implement priority projects and expand bilateral cooperation in areas such as investment, energy, transportation, agriculture, the establishment of joint industrial enterprises, trade and services, and the export of goods and products, among other fields.

Economic and trade relations between Tajikistan and Azerbaijan are expanding
During the visit, officials from Tajikistan's government familiarized themselves with the support and incentive systems for exporters, as well as the complexes and methods of providing government services to small and medium-sized producers of export-oriented and import-substituting products in Azerbaijan.
Simultaneously, negotiations were held with colleagues on opportunities and directions for increasing bilateral trade, utilizing the transit capabilities of transportation corridors for cargo transportation to third countries in a mutual west-east direction, and strengthening cooperation in industrial cooperation and agricultural product processing.
The Tajik side invited representatives from Azerbaijan to participate in the fourth International Export Forum "Bokhtar Food," which will take place on October 17-18 in the Khatlon region.

The "State Program for the Development of Theatre Arts in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2025-2029" has been adopted
The program will create a favorable foundation for the development and improvement of theater arts and address a range of existing issues in this field. It aims to protect and promote theatrical traditions, modern dramaturgy, and new performances, as well as to attract more audiences, strengthen the role of theater in cultural life, and prepare professionals for the theater sector both domestically and abroad.
With the implementation of this program, the material and technical base of theatrical institutions will be significantly strengthened. Conditions will also be created for the further development of theatrical activities and an increase in artists' tours. The program includes activities for theaters across the country.
