The Ministry of Economy and Commerce of Kyrgyzstan hosted a meeting with representatives from South Korean companies to discuss the potential development of an intelligent logistics hub in the country, according to the ministry’s press service.
The meeting followed a Memorandum of Understanding signed on December 4, 2024, between Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Economy and Commerce and a consortium of South Korean companies. The agreement was reached during an official visit to South Korea.
During the discussions, updates were provided on the project's master plan, along with insights on enhancing logistics capabilities in Kyrgyzstan. Both sides highlighted the importance of bilateral cooperation and reaffirmed their commitment to advancing joint initiatives.
One of the participating companies has completed over 10 000 projects across various sectors, including urban planning and infrastructure development. Its projects in Central Asia include a planned 500-bed hospital in Tashkent and a large IT park in Karachi, covering more than 76 000 square meters.
