A global educational center is being established to promote cultural exchange, offering Korean language studies, research, and the dissemination of Korean culture.
On March 14, a new Korean Center opened in cooperation with a university in Kazakhstan, restructuring and expanding an existing language institute. The center will offer Korean language courses and conduct joint research on curriculum development and teaching methods to enhance cultural ties between Korea and Kazakhstan.
The initiative is part of a global scholarship program launched in 2008, supporting local talent in multiple countries, including Indonesia, Russia, Turkey, and Kazakhstan. As of last year, around 1500 students worldwide had benefited from these programs.
