The mountains in Kyrgyzstan are located very close to Bishkek, offering travelers the opportunity to quickly find themselves in nature. With developed routes and convenient transportation options, they are easy to visit. In this article, we’ll share popular mountain locations and how to comfortably get there from the capital.


Ala-Archa National Park

Ala-Archa National Park is a natural area just 40 minutes from Bishkek. Located in the Tien Shan mountains, this park is perfect for hiking, mountaineering, and picnicking. Visitors will enjoy picturesque mountain rivers, high rocky peaks, and fresh air. Popular trails include the route to the Aksai Waterfall and the Ratzek Hut.
