WHAT A WONDERFUL KOKSHETAU

We continue to introduce you the cities of Kazakhstan through the lens of photographers. And now we want to show you the beauty of Kokshetau — the city of forests, picturesque nature and kind people.

It’s really a “Peace Town”, which carefully keeps history and traditions. City attracts with the beauty of landscape, hospitality and kindness of locals. It’s a warm city which keeps its history and traditions.

Kokshetau is the only city in Kazakhstan located on the foothill and at the same time on the lakeside.

Maxim Nikitin:

Kokshetau is an amazing city and not only for those who was born there. Besides picturesque and rich landscape, it’s the place with beautiful forests, hills and lakes. There are not so many new buildings as in Astana, high peaks as in Almaty. Kokshetau is a small city, but that is the beauty of the city. There is a fresh air and homie atmosphere, no traffic jams, bustle.

For me Kokshetau is heartful city, where peoples’ souls live in the hills and in the skies above mountains.
