"Lesnaya Skazka" mountain resort hotel
The resort is in the gorge of Oi-Karagai, in forty minutes from Almaty. "Lesnaya Skazka" (“Forest Fairy Tale”) depicts the most breathtaking features of Kazakhstan nature. Visitors can enjoy the coniferous forest and beautiful views of the Trans-Ili Alatau.
There’re hiking trails all over the resort. Here you can enjoy winter sports: go skiing, snowboarding, slide downhill on tubings.
Also, there’re unusual super-troll rides called "Oy Karagai", after the name of the gorge being crossed. Thrill-seekers would definitely like a special roller speedy descent on a 560 meters long cable at an altitude of 80 meters.
"Lesnaya Skazka" offers horse riding and short trainings as well.

"Tau Turan" ski slope
"Tau Turan" ski slope is at the education and health complex of the same name. There are 3 ski tracks, a private ski school, a tubing track, and ski equipment rent.
No snowboards rental.

«Vosem ozyor» park resort
«Vosem ozyor» (Eight Lakes) has a thermal SPA including an open-air thermal pool (up to +42 C). Surrounding coniferous trees and fresh air will make your rest unforgettable. An indoor hydro massage pool (up to +30 degrees) and three saunas - Russian, Finnish and Turkish are waiting for you.
Horse riding is offered as well. You can either ride a horse or a harness. Extra training can be requested at an additional pay.

“Ski Park Pioneer” family ski resort
Here you can go skiing, snowboarding, sledging and ride tubing, called “vatrushki” by the locals.
There’s a specially equipped children's playground, where you can ride on snow saucers. Special trainings, mountain hikings and excursions are held.
The resort is equipped with a 1100-meters-long rope lift. There’s a special slope equipped for children. The length of the lift for children is 200 meters.
There are cafes, a canteen and a Russian banya.

"Ak-Bulak" high-altitude ski resort
"Ak-Bulak" (White Spring) family ski resort is at an altitude of 2664 meters, not far from Talgar. Here you can go snowboarding, skiing, ride tubing and skate. Moreover, here you can enjoy SPA, swimming pool, bowling and snooker.
The resort has a variety of slopes. The "red" tracks are for experienced skiers, while the "green" ones are for amateurs and beginners. The shortest slope is for children and those who are to ski for the first time. There is also a "black" track for 55˚, which goes across the forest. The tracks length varies from 250 to 2351 meters.
There is an "Ak-Bulak" restaurant. Here you’ll be offered Italian, Russian and Japanese cuisines.
A room price in “The Ak-Bulak”, “The Tau-Akbulak” and an economy-class hotels includes breakfast and a swimming pool with sauna and gym.
