The Karakol ski complex is the main symbol of active winter recreation in Kyrgyzstan and the best place for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts. We explain how much a vacation will cost and what the complex’s opening hours are.
Karakol, @karakolski, is the main ski base in Kyrgyzstan. Here you can have a fun and interesting time, enjoy unique landscapes and, of course, ski and snowboard with pleasure. The complex has more than 20 kilometers of slopes of varying difficulty, an ice rink, sledding hills, and other entertainment.
The cable cars and slopes operate daily. During the standard season — until December 30, 2025, and from January 11 to March 31, 2026 — prices are as follows:

— adult ticket from 09:00 to 16:00 on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday — 1400 som or $16
— adult ticket from 09:00 to 16:00 from Friday to Monday — 1700 som — $19.4
— night skiing ticket from 18:30 to 22:00 — 1000 som — $11.4
— morning skiing ticket from 09:00 to 12:00 from Friday to Monday — 1400 som or $16
— afternoon skiing ticket from 12:00 to 16:00 from Friday to Monday — 1500 som — $17.2.
During the high season from December 31, 2025, to January 10, 2026, ticket prices differ slightly:
— electronic card — ski pass — 300 som or $3.4
— children’s ticket for children under 12 from 09:00 to 16:00 — 1200 som or $13.7
— adult ticket from 09:00 to 16:00 — 2000 som — $22.9
— night skiing ticket from 18:30 to 22:00 — 1200 som or $13.7
— morning skiing ticket from 09:00 to 12:00 — 1600 som — $18.3
— afternoon skiing ticket from 12:00 to 16:00 — 1700 som — $19.4
At the resort, you can also rent ski equipment. Rental points operate daily from 9:00 to 16:00, and one-day rental prices are as follows:
— children’s skis — 400 som or $4.6
— adult skis and snowboards — from 700 to 900 som or from $8 to $10.3
If you do not ski or snowboard but want to enjoy unique views and a pleasant atmosphere, you can purchase an excursion ticket for 700 som — $8.
