About myself
I enjoy reading, especially books on psychology, since I like to study human psychology. I think it's useful to know how to start any conversation. I'm also interested in reading on the body language, which, cannot deceive.
I'm an open person. I constantly need communication.
I like to travel. I've been to many places in Kazakhstan and I want to travel more around the world, visit unique places, learn languages, get to know different cultures.
I love music. In America I played in a music band and was a DJ. In Miami many people like to listen to new music. I believe that music can affect the feelings and emotions. It unites people. I like different genres: techno, classics, rock. Music is your soul embodiment.
I have a dombra and try to play it. So far I have not worked, but I hope that I will soon learn.
In Astana I work at the Kazmedia Center, where I am the only foreigner. From the first days I did not feel at ease, people were interested to know me, they tried to talk to me in English, so that I could feel myself at home. People are open and friendly. Now I feel myself at home, as here is my family.
About Astana
Before coming to Kazakhstan, the only thing I knew was that there are a lot of natural resources, such as gold, oil and gas. I remember in a history class we had a big world map, and we were mainly told about France, Italy. Asian countries weren’t mentioned often, but I was always interested in learning more about them.
I met my future wife in Ohio, but she comes from Almaty. After we started dating, she had to return to Kazakhstan, but I wanted her to stay in America, so I asked her to marry me. A year later she returned to the US. Having lived there for a while, we went to South Korea for three years. Our son was born there. When he was two weeks old, we flew to Astana.
Astana is a new city, where all new ideas can be implemented. 20 years ago there was nothing here, and many didn’t want to move from Almaty to Astana, but now everything is completely different. Your buildings are the best not only in Central Asia. People come here not only from the CIS, but also from America, Europe, and not just for work, but just to visit the city and the country.
I think I understand the Kazakh people, because I know the history of the country and what your ancestors went through. I hope that I will stay here for a long and will see how the country develops.
I want to study the Kazakh language intensively. I understand the Kazakh mentality, I know the culture of the country, I visited many places, and the Kazakh language will give more opportunities to me.
I see that the Kazakhs are proud of their culture, history, music. They like to share it with other countries.
I like Kazakh weddings and adore guests saying long toasts. On average they say toasts for about ten minutes.
I like beshbarmak, especially with fish, which I tried in Aktau. The dish is hot, but tasty.
I like to walk in the Central Park in Astana. Now the park has many attractions for children, trees are planted. The Ishim river flows there. I like to "Khan Shatyr". It's beautiful there, now I want to visit the beach, which is on the top floor.
In Astana it is possible to rent bicycles located all over the city. Many diplomats and suited up businessmen often use them and I like that. You can see more city sights riding a bicycle.
I like to go to an Indian restaurant, which is located in Astana Mall. It's very tasty there. Also like the restaurant Momento along the Republic Avenue, where you can try pizza, shish kebabs. This is not a very expensive institution and owners are trying to update the menu often.

Caring people and their life inspiration
My family inspires me. I am happy, if my family is happy.
I like to be useful, I'm inspired by the thought that I’m needed. There is a lot of positive and negative energy in the world. I believe that all the energy that we radiate is somewhere in space, so I try to give the space as much as possible. I don’t want to work and earn money, I want to help people and be a good person.
I think that people are inspired by people who are around, by those who help. I am inspired by life stories, the way people became successful. It inspires me to work harder.
Current state of spirit
I'm happy. The sun shines is shining bright. Such weather makes people feel happy.
