The Pamir National Park is an amazing nature reserve in eastern Tajikistan, established in 1992. It one of the biggest high mountain parks among CIS countries. The park features a mix of the steppe, desert, grassland, and alpine regions. In 2013 UNESCO accepted The Pamir National Park as World Heritage. The Pamir Mountains illustrate an outstanding range of mountains, valley glaciers, and deep river gorges.
Charyn State National Park

Charyn National Natural Park was established in 2004 to preserve and restore the unique natural complexes of the Almaty region. The Natural Park has the status of an environmental and scientific institution of republican significance. The main tourist attractions of the National Park is Charyn Canyon. It reflects the processes of relief formation and has a special value for tourism and recreation.
Altyn-Emel National Park

Altyn-Emel National Park combines amazing landscapes of sand deserts, mountains, and steppes. It was established in 1996 to preserve natural and historical monuments. Altyn-Emel National Park is the largest reserve in Kazakhstan and part of UNESCO's world heritage. The main phenomenon of Altyn-Emel National Park is the Singing Dunes. Singing Dunes are especially known for sounds of sand. When the wind is blowing from the West dispersing the sands, one has a feeling that the pipe organ is playing in the heart of the desert.
Ugam-Chatkal National Park

Ugam-Chatkal was established in 1992 to preserve its unique and pristine nature. It is the largest nature protection complex in Uzbekistan, located at Chatkal ridges of Western Tien-Shan. The National park was created to protect Tien-Shan highland woods and unique ecosystems, inhabited by multiple rare and endangered species of animals and plants. In 2016 UNESCO declared the Chatkal mountains, which are a part of Ugam-Chatkal national park a World Heritage Site.
Kolsai Lakes National Park

Kolsai Lakes National is pearls of Tien Shan, and one of the most stunning places in Kazakhstan. It was established in 2007 to protect the area of the Kolsai lakes and preserve its pristine nature. Tourists from Kazakhstan and all over the world come here for recreation and wonderful nature.
The Park includes two major lakes with unique fauna and flora: Kolsai Lake and Kaindy Lake. The area of the Park is ecologically clean and rich in wild plants, many of which are medicinal.
Ala-Archa National Park

Picturesque national park in the Tian Shan mountains, established in 1976 and located near Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. The park includes the gorge of breathtaking Ala-Archa River and the mountains surrounding it. The Park is home to many rare species of animals, as well as rare plant species. In 2017, a snow leopard was photographed in Ala-Archa National Park for the first time.
Zaamin National Park

Oldest nature preserve in Uzbekistan, established in 1926 on the northern slopes of the western part of Turkestan Range. Zaamin National Park boasts incredible flora and fauna. There are over 700 plant species and 40 mammals, including the rare Snow Leopard, Turkestan Lynx, Bearded Vulture, and Asiatic Black Bear. Locals and tourists came here to enjoy beautiful mountain landscapes and pure air.
