The fashion industry of Uzbekistan is well-known far beyond the country. We have found 10 talented Uzbek designers who create unique works.

Aziz Dadaxodjaev, @porso_

Aziz — the founder of the modern atelier PORSO. His work — is an embodiment of art and elegance. He skillfully combines different styles in his creative work. Designers from Tashkent and beyond love to visit his workshop.

Davron Murad, @davron.murad

A young designer and fashion illustrator creates the most incredible sketches. In 2019, he enrolled in the "Costume Design" faculty at the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, where he strengthened his knowledge in the field of design.

During his student years, he collaborated with several well-known brands: @shakhzoda_atelier, @anoratelier, @atelier_budur, and @porso_. Currently, he works under his own brand Davron MURAD. His focus is on Embroidery Couture.

Dilnoza Umirzakova, @dilnozaumirzakova

Dilnoza Umirzakova is the Chairperson of the Council of Young Designers of Uzbekistan, the founder of the brand ANOR, the ANOR SCHOOL project, and Uzbekistan Fashion Week.

The young woman was already good at sewing and designing clothes at the age of five. She professionally engaged in design at a more conscious age, and registered the brand after getting married.

Madina Kasimbaeva, @suzani_kasimbaeva

Madina was born in 1981 in Tashkent. She became interested in embroidery at a young age. In 2018, she exhibited her works in Tashkent as part of the exhibition The birth of suzani and was awarded a medal for her contribution to Uzbek culture.

Miran Khalikov, @designedbymiran

Miran was born and raised in the small but ancient city of Bukhara in a family of craftsmen. His parents — the main people who instilled in him a love for this craft.
The colorful embroidered suzani of is brand are especially popular among foreign customers who not only want to decorate their homes but also wear beautiful clothing. The designer also combines old vintage suzanis with new ones, making long coats, jackets, and robes.

Diora Usmanova is a designer and founder of the brands Bibiona Couture, Saadi, DU’A, and a network of luxury restaurants. She creates both everyday and more elegant clothing designs.

Nigora Hashimova, @nigorahashimova.dsgn

Nigora started her career as a fashion designer at the age of 18 in 2013. It was then that she created her own brand, Nigora Hashimova. At the age of 19, she also opened a clothing tailoring studio.

Dildora Kasimova, @dildorakasimova

The designer from Uzbekistan has been creating collections for her eponymous fashion house for over 15 years. Her models feature feminine silhouettes, Eastern ornaments, and the finest lace.

Dildora made her debut on the runway in 2006 and has since presented her collections in various countries around the world, including Italy, Kazakhstan, Korea, and Russia.

Fashion designer and founder of the women's clothing brand LiLiya Dulat was born and raised in Uzbekistan, in the provincial city of KarshiShe received her education at the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry.

For the first time under her own name, Gothic collection was presented at the fashion show within the framework of Uzbekistan Fashion Week ART WEEK Style.uz 2009. The signature style of the Liliya Dulat brand is characterized by precise work with linear patterns, volumes, and rigid, yet pliable forms.
